Terms of Service

These terms apply when you book studio time or buy content, podcast or marketing services from Preston Podcast Studio and Media Ltd (company number 16904034), trading as Preston Podcast Studio ("we", "us"). Your proposal, quote or booking confirmation sets out the specific services, price and term. If anything in it differs from these terms, the proposal takes priority.

1. Bookings and studio hire

  • Studio hire is charged per hour at the rate shown on our website or in your quote.
  • Sessions are confirmed once booked through our booking system or confirmed by us in writing.
  • Please arrive on time. Time lost to late arrival may not be added to the end of your session if another booking follows.
  • If you need to reschedule, please give us as much notice as possible.

2. Monthly packages

  • Monthly content packages run for the minimum term in your proposal (usually three months), then continue month to month unless either of us gives notice as set out in your proposal.
  • If your business goes through a quiet period, ask us about pausing your package. Pauses are agreed in writing.
  • Deliverables, such as the number of clips, sessions and edits, are as set out in your proposal.

3. Payment

  • We invoice in advance unless agreed otherwise. Invoices are payable by the due date shown.
  • We are not VAT registered, so no VAT is added to our prices.
  • Advertising spend is paid by you directly to the platform (for example Meta or Google) from your own account, unless your proposal says otherwise.
  • We may pause work on overdue accounts until payment is received.

4. Your content

  • Once paid for, you own the final edited content we deliver to you and can use it however you like.
  • We keep raw footage and project files for a reasonable period so we can make edits and new clips. We don't guarantee to keep them indefinitely.
  • We will only use your footage, clips or testimonial to promote our own business with your permission.
  • You are responsible for what is said in your content and for having permission from any guests, music or materials you bring.

5. Guarantees

  • Same-day delivery: where your package includes same-day podcast delivery and we miss it, that session is free.
  • Results guarantee: where offered, our enquiry guarantee is governed by its own Results Guarantee terms.

6. Results

We work hard to help your content and ads perform, but views, enquiries and sales depend on many things outside our control. Apart from any guarantee we have given you in writing, we don't promise specific results.

7. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost business.

8. Cancellation and consumer rights

If you buy as a consumer rather than as a business, you may have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of booking a service at a distance. If you ask us to start work within that period, you may need to pay for the work already done. These terms don't affect your statutory rights.

9. General
